  17. <p>     Aides to British Prime Minister John Major are noting the
  18. irony of the advice George Bush gave their boss just a few weeks
  19. ago. During a postwar meeting in Bermuda, the President noticed
  20. Major's weary appearance. "Are you wiped out?" he asked. "You
  21. have to take care of yourself, John. You must pace yourself."
  22. Bush urged Major to take a vacation, and the Conservative leader
  23. did manage a few days off at Easter. During Bush's health scare,
  24. Major returned the gesture of friendship and concern by phoning
  25. the President at the hospital.
